Best Minecraft Snow Biome Seeds (2021)
We have personally tested all the seeds listed below on Minecraft version 1.17. You can expect them to run on any version above 1.14.1 for the most part. We have divided the seeds into two sections for either edition of the game. But the list isn’t in a particular sequence, so feel free to explore the seeds as per your interest. Also, to help you explore the world with ease, we have mentioned all the key coordinates for each seed.
Best Snow Biome Seeds for Minecraft Bedrock Edition
The following seeds will run across all versions of Minecraft Bedrock, including PC, consoles, and even Minecraft PE. There can be some differences in mob spawning, but the overall world will be more or less the same. Not to forget, you can even use RTX on Minecraft PC to take the experience to the next level. With that out of the way, let’s look at our seeds selection here:
1. Snowy Stronghold Village
Even though most of the cold biomes in Minecraft seem unsurvivable, a little help can go a long way. That’s why our first seed features a snowy village. It isn’t near the spawn but is definitely worth traveling to. It’s one of the largest in-game snowy villages, with a variety of villagers to help you stock up on resources. It’s not only perfect to help you get started but even settle in the Minecraft world as well.
Not to forget, the snowy aesthetics of the village are a bonus delight. If that isn’t enough to convince you, there’s even a stronghold under the village. So, once you have collected enough resources and the Eyes of Ender, you won’t have to travel far to finish the game.

2. Snow Kingdom
If you are planning to create a base in a snow biome, this Minecraft seed is for you. We spawn close to a Ruined portal that has enchanted items in its loot. There’s also a plains village for extra resources nearby. And once you are ready, it’s time to travel west towards the ice biomes. You will have to cross badlands to reach there, but the effort is more than rewarding.
Once you reach our specified coordinates, there’s a snowy village waiting for you. It’s surrounded by ice spikes, a frozen ocean, and snow, making the area stands out next to the colorful badlands. With mostly leveled areas and existing structures, it will be easy to create a snow base in this seed. Also, if you choose not to stop here, traveling further will lead you to snowy plains biomes. However, you might have to struggle for resources due to a lack of food-based mobs and edible plants.

3. The Coldest Spawn
For our next entry in this list of best Minecraft snow biome seeds, you don’t have to travel anywhere at all. This seed gives us the snowy rewards right at spawn. There’s snow, ice spikes, and snow-based mountains all around our spawn point. The area is pretty large with three villages and three Ruined portals for you to discover.
Once you have collected enough resources from the chests and farmers, there are three fairly large ravines that can get you some ores. The obsidian from Ruined portals will help you easily finish one of them into a Nether portal. Then, all that’s left to do is find a stronghold. But, we suggest you find a few food sources first because the empty snowy biomes aren’t really going anywhere.

4. Snow Village with Pillager Outpost
This Minecraft seed is an adventurous one, where we spawn in a huge snow biome near a snowy village. You can get the tools and food you require here to get started with your journey. Then, if you venture further into the snowy biome, there’s another large snowy village. It is located next to a Pillager Outpost. This situation isn’t ideal for villagers because of hostile mobs, but it is a rare sight. There’s even an iron golem trapped near it that you can release to help you clear the mobs.

5. Snow Biomes Everywhere
The sheer size of the snow biome in this seed has landed it a place in our list of best Minecraft snow biome seeds. But that’s not the only thing that this seed has going in its favor. There are plenty of villages in the area, and one of them is within 100 blocks of the spawn. You can even find a snowy village built upon the stronghold here. If we include the Ruined portals in the picture, it’s one of the best survival seeds you can get in Minecraft.

Best Snow Biome Seeds for Minecraft Java Edition
Our next group of seeds is compatible with Minecraft Java edition, which works on most Windows PCs. You can even install Minecraft Java on ARM-Powered Chromebooks. These won’t work similarly on other devices that run the Bedrock edition of the game.
6. Abandoned in Ice
This rare Minecraft seed spawns you on a desert island that is surrounded by cold frozen oceans. From polar bears to the dark color tone, everything in this seed is going to give you wintery chills. Though, for all Minecraft survival players, that also means that you will have to work extra hard to get wood and food.
There isn’t even any village nearby, so avoid taking fights with the hostile mobs. The best thing you can do to survive is diving underwater to find cold ruins. Though, the drowned zombies around it can be a problem. As for the good parts again, this seed gives us one of the most iconic views at night, as shown in the screenshot above.

7. Iced Village
Any list of the best Minecraft snow biome seeds is incomplete without a mention of this seed. It generates the rarest type of village that you can imagine. But do keep in mind that it’s best explored in the creative mode because it’s far from our spawn point. Coming back to the village, it’s a complete village with an iron golem, farms, and villagers. What makes it different is that it’s present on different floors of a snowy mountain. There are even ice spikes all around the village, making it feel like something out of a movie like Frozen. If you make it this far in creative mode, you can even find some useful resources under the village. There are multiple cave openings in the area, and you can even find ways to reach down to the diamond level.

8. Continuous Snow Biomes with 20+ Villages
Usually, Minecraft worlds generate snowy biomes that are limited to a couple of chunks. But this seed gives us a massive continuous snowy world, where other biomes feel out of place. It’s easily the best seed for creating servers and cities based around the snow in Minecraft. Not only that, there are more than 20 villages, 2 pillager outposts, 3 zombie villages, countless igloos, and a lot more in a continuous stretch on this seed.
The best part, however, is that you spawn close to two such villages. That means you can load on resources before exploration. There’s even a blacksmith in one of the villages to cover up your iron supply. And not to forget, there’s also a stronghold within a thousand blocks area of spawn. So, other than being a great seed for snow biome lovers, it’s a good Minecraft survival seed too.

9. Snowy Pillager Outpost at Spawn
This seed might be your most favorite or least favorite, depending upon if you survive it. On this seed, the game doesn’t let you breathe a sigh of relief at any time, even when you have just spawned. It places you close to a Pillage outpost. The mobs might not notice you right away, so running right away is the best option. Fortunately, there’s a village around the corner to help you out. But that’s all the free help you get.
Once you are done looting the village, you can either go back to the outpost or jump into one of the many cave openings in that area. This seed is a challenging one, but it’s quite popular among adventure lovers. Do keep in mind that you might also have to fight polar bears and not only the pillagers.

10. Village in 4 Biomes and Huge Snowy Mountain
The final entry on our list of best Minecraft snow biome seeds brings us a confusing village generation. We spawn near this village, which is a snowy village but extends across the snowy tundra, beach, desert, and plains biome. The loot in this seed isn’t good either unless you only want food. Though, it can be a great place for a base built across two biomes.
We are only focusing on two because they dominate most of the area in this Minecraft seed. If you choose to travel towards the desert, you can find a desert temple and a huge desert awaiting you. On the other hand, if you choose to travel towards the snow, it also leads to an equally massive snowy area. Once the tundra ends, you will find yourself in the ice spikes biome.
